If you’re a website owner, visitor stats can provide insights to what content is of greatest interest. Periodically it’s good to review the visitor map to get a sense of where site visitors are located.

Insights
I like to see an even distribution of visitors. It’s expected to see clusters of visitors from countries where English is a primary language or commonly spoken language. This includes North America, Europe, South Africa, and some other communities around the world. Automated language translation makes sites more widely accessible to others.
Beyond language access constraints, there are political and cultural constraints. Some websites are completely blocked by governments because of controversial or offensive content. Well written restrained and respectful content is typically not blocked. It’s a good sign to see visitors from China, Russia, and strict countries with religious extremist influences.
If whatever you are trying to tell the world is conveyed in a way that causes it to be blocked by certain countries, then you’re not having an impact in those countries.
