Summary. It is sometimes desirable for the home page of a website to display without the “Home” title.
Some themes have this ability built-in. However, for those using the older Twenty Ten WordPress theme, it’s necessary to make the change by using the Editor found under Appearance in the Dashboard.
The illustration below shows the change needed within the loop-page.php file.
The text shown in red needs to be removed. This will leave a gap at the top of the page where the header would have been. To remove the gap as well, remove the entire line where the highlighted red text is shown below.
