ResourcesForLife.com – News 201311 | 8 December 2013 | Sunday

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the November 2013 newsletter. I hope you’re doing well. I’m sorry for the delay in getting the newsletter posted.

Personal Update. My Personal Update for November is now available. In that update I’ve explained more about the delay in getting the newsletter out. If we’re not already connected on Facebook, I invite you to visit my page and send me a friend request.

News Network. In August I announced the Resources For Life News Network. The network continues to expand. There are now close to 100 websites in the network, some created for clients, through which news and articles are distributed. You can view the complete list in the portfolio of websites I’ve developed. Some of these sites have been created and hosted without charge for local non-profit groups and aspiring artists.

Universal Wellness Program. I’ve been developing a Universal Wellness Program based on Universal Design. This means it is usable by as many people as possible. The program promotes wellness and counteracts a condition I describe as Interrelated Illness Phases and Cycles Syndrome (IIPC Syndrome). You can see it visually in a High Definition (1920×1080) diagram. The IIPC Syndrome diagram is a complete cyclical systemic flowchart describing a development timeline for illness that impact millions of people worldwide. Wherever someone finds themselves in the chart, they will likely discover threads of connections to the other symptoms and conditions. There is still some room for more research, data collection, analysis, discovery and further expansion of the diagram. My goal is to create practices and protocols to reverse the cycle. This is similar to using the technology found in noise canceling headphones applied to illness (like creating a reverse waveform) to counteract and neutralize negative health conditions. These solutions are intended to be inexpensive or free, and easy for anyone to understand and utilize. I plan to post about these findings through my website as open source and creative commons resources.

Recent Articles. The home page of the ResourcesForLife.com website has a list of the latest articles posted to the site including some important announcements. If you skim the titles you should be able to find the items of interest relevant to you.

Heart Songs. There’s been a lot of great music that’s crossed my path recently. Some of those songs featured this month: Sooner or Later by Mat Kearney, Wake Me Up by Avicii, I Need Your Love by Calvin Harris, and The Words I would Say by Sidewalk Prophets. I heard that last song in an interesting circumstance. I was at the coffee shop and went to use the tiny restroom. I walked into the restroom and discovered the lights didn’t work. So, for a moment, I was standing there in the dark and in that moment the song was on the radio, and the chorus began. It’s from the genre of contemporary faith music, which one normally doesn’t hear in public places. The song had an extra measure of my attention in that moment since I couldn’t see anything. It’s a proclamation song of blessing similar to Forever Young by Rod Stewart and I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. Anyway, it’s a nice song and that experience made it more special and a bit more personal. A video of the song and lyrics is below. I know some of my readers don’t like any expression of faith or religion, so please feel free to skip this if you’d prefer.

Thanks. I want to thank the global team of volunteers, contributors, and workers “behind the scenes” who help make all this possible. I’m very grateful to the many people who continue to uphold and advance the mission of Resources for Life. Thanks again for your support. Please let me know if there is any way that Resources for Life can serve you better.

Regards,
Greg
