Businesses are repurposing their advertising and marketing budgets and instead spending that money to create inspiring advertising uplifting stories that help make the world a better place. The following ad from Stouffer’s is an example.
Coach Ted Ginn, football coach of Glenville High School and founder of Ginn Academy, the only all-boys high school in Ohio, doesn’t coach to win games, he coaches to change lives. Ginn says “Coaching is my life. It’s my joy. It’s what I do every day. I get up to get down every day for the kids and the parents.” He said he wanted to make “much more significant differences in kid’s lives than how they ran down a football field or jumped over hurdles.” To do this, he spends time around the table with his students teaching, mentoring, and connecting with them. “I eat with the kids all the time. I make sure they have 3 meals a day. We sit down and dine in with students and their parents. It’s important to help build relationships.” By enjoying Stouffer’s lasagna around the table with his team, he’s able to give them the confidence to achieve more. What are you hungry for?
