ResourcesForLife.com – News 201712 | 28 December 2017 | Thursday
I hope you’re doing well. Welcome to my monthly newsletter.
Since last month’s newsletter I’ve posted one article to the Resources for Life website. You can view it on the recent content page.
Lindsay Shepherd Exonerated
In November, Canadian teaching assistant Lindsay Shepherd was exonerated — which I thought was really big news, so I wrote an article about that. She was accused of having allowed a classroom discussion with a diversity of viewpoints including some conservative views. Exposing her students to conservative views was thought to be a matter of such grave circumstances that her case became international news and was even discussed in in the Canadian Parliament. Eventually she was acquitted of all charges. It’s a fascinating chain of events, so read the story if you’re inclined.
This month’s Heart Songs selection is “Silver & Gold” by Wild. Usually I offer a music video, but this month there’s just the music with a still image.
I want to thank the global team of volunteers, contributors, and workers “behind the scenes” who help make all this possible. I’m very grateful to the many people who continue to uphold and advance the mission of Resources for Life. Thanks again for your support. Please let me know if there is any way that Resources for Life can serve you better.
