Themed Reports

At the end of 2022, a practical approach to providing content evolved as it became clear and themed reports emerged.

This evolution to themed reports evolved naturally from world events, trends, and lengthening news cycles for certain tropics.

Instead of shorter news cycles for trivial and sensational stories, more important stories began to linger on serious topics covered by major news outlets.

This was partly made possible by global news becoming more readily accessible, more widely adopted, and of greater quality. Long format news reports, both written and video reports, became more common.

Rather than creating numerous separate posts for ongoing subjects, it made sense to maintain a single curated post for each subject with running updates on that topic.

For 2023, various topics have been under consideration at the start of the year, but a changing landscape of news and events had delayed the launch of this year’s reports.

Most of the same topics from last year have continued on their expected trajectory of more frequency and greater seriousness. So, those will continue into this year. [Learn More]
